Tool Donations
The Shed can accept tools in fair to good quality. Worn out and damaged tools are best recycled to metal dealers, or left out in council cleanups. Garden tools will not be accepted.
Wood Donations
Many wood pieces can be repurposed by our Members to produce good quality items – Toys, Furniture, etc. Please try to indicate the quantity and size you have available. Certain woods are not acceptable as they can contain harmful elements. These include Chipboard, MDF, and Western Red Cedar. A photo will help in our assessment of your donation, so please use the upload function below.
Repairs
Members undertake repair tasks to restore wooden items to a useful life. If you are seeking to repair an item, please describe the item and damage. Each item will require an individual assessment before we commence the repair. Ideally take photos of the item to help our assessment, so please use the upload function below. It will most probably be necessary to bring the item to the Shed for review.
